Marvo brings fabricated steel into a scale suited to private interiors. That shift has an economic history. Villa was known for public and architectural sculpture, but numbered, more domestic works opened his practice to a wider collector market without turning it into cast-bronze miniatures. Steel remained a material of industry and construction, yet its circulation changed – from civic commission to editioned object. Marvo is from that negotiation between public modernism, private ownership and the market that sustained studio production.
